Readings :Rv 21:9B-14; Gospel Jn 1:45-51
Praise God. We all like to be appreciated for the good work we do. Be it in our office or workplace or in the study centre or even in our family. The act of recognizing or understanding that something is valuable causes joy and happiness. If such an act comes from a higher authoritative personality it creates an overwhelming situation in our life. We see in the Gospels our Blessed Mother being addressed as hail full of grace because she was so innocent so much so the Lord found a place in her to take the human form.
We see one of such situations in the Gospel today where Nathaniel is addressed by our Lord Jesus Christ as a man with no deceit. Jesus could see his heart and found him as a man with no guile. Dear reader let us take some time to reflect on our life. If Jesus were to present before us or speak to us, will He ever find us as a man or a woman with no deceit? Sometimes being in this world we accumulate vices and fill our hearts with deceit. Let us earnestly give a try to clean ourselves and to become a simple man or woman who helps others, who sees God in others and make this world a wonderful place.
