07 Nov 2019: Lost Sheep and Coin

Thursday of the Thirty-first Week in Ordinary Time

Readings: Rom 14:7-12, Lk: 15:1-10

In today’s reading our Lord sets before us the parables of lost sheep and coin. As we know the proportion of the lost one and the effort put in to find it is not logically or rationally appealing. His passionate love has no logic, no reason. He is love itself. He not only takes the trouble to seek the lost one but also rejoices with the whole host of heaven. Precious in the sight of the Lord each of his children.
