Saturday of the Fourth Week of Easter
Readings: Acts13:44-52, Jn 14:7-14
Jesus was both Divine and Human. He had the realization of it from the very beginning. Jesus says, ‘Believe that I am in the Father and Father is in me.’ All that He said and did reflected this. All the wonders He worked in the lives of people was the result of this realization.
It is said that there is a spark of Divine in every human being, waiting to become realized. A question might arise in each one of us, do i have that spark within me? When God created human being He did not create him/her separate from Him. Gen 1:27 says, ‘So God created mankind in His own image.’ Hence, the spark of Divine is within each one of us, only to be realized. This realization would bring about changes in our lives; the way we speak, the words that we utter, the acts that we do, the way we relate with others, the way we think, etc. It is the Divine realization that made Jesus different from others and do marvels. The moment each one of us have this realization, our life will radiate joy in the lives of the people around us. Our life will become meaningful. We all will enjoy that peace not just earthly but also in eternal.
May God bless us all with the graces necessary to become aware of the Divine Spark within us. Amen.
