We all have experiences wherein we have felt the bitterness of failures. Several people struggle to accept their failures because they think that it is the end of everything. However, if we analyze our life carefully, we could understand that at times, our failures could be blessings in disguise. Each failure gives us a valuable lesson for our life. It remains a failure unless we have not received any insight for our life from this experience. In today’s gospel Jesus says: “be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect.” We are created in the image and likeness of God with a divine end. Perfection itself is a difficult task then what did Jesus mean by growing in divine perfection? Perfection might be difficult but it is not impossible. Every small step that we take matters a lot. There might be failures in this journey, but it can be a blessing why because in those moments we recognize our fragility and rely on God’s grace. Many people gave up because they think that it is impossible to live Christian ideals and attain perfection. God does not keep an account of our failures rather our attempt to get up and walk and He is always there for us in our journey towards him to become like Him.
